At Physer, our name holds a significance that transcends mere nomenclature; it's a living link to history. Derived from 'Baleal', a small island in Peniche - Portugal meaning 'whale', it evokes an era when this coastal haven thrived with the activities of whalers. Here, the magnificent sperm whale, scientifically known as Physeter, held a special place.
By simplifying it to Physer, we pay homage to our roots and express our dedication to the ocean. Today, Physer reaches far beyond creating exceptional goods; it embraces the very essence of our beloved sea.

In 2019, a journey began. As I worked on repairing wetsuits, I unearthed imperfections that afflicted numerous brands. This ignited a mission to revolutionise wetsuits, driven by a passion for perfection. Every element was analysed with meticulous care, revealing flaws in established brands. From these insights, the vision for Physer was born.
My Journey:
With a sketchbook in hand and a vision in mind, i set out to craft a wetsuit that addressed every issue i had identified. The first sample was a revelation, a testament to my commitment to excellence. Through refinements and updates, each subsequent sample brought me closer to my goal.
Navigating Challenges:
The world was struck by a pandemic, and like many, the project was momentarily halted. However, i did not waver. I returned in 2023, fueled by a determination to create something extraordinary.
The Final Milestone:
With the inclusion of two more devoted ocean enthusiasts, after rigorous testing and relentless pursuit of perfection, we stand proud with the final product. The Physer wetsuit embodies the pinnacle of innovation. It boasts top-grade limestone neoprene, and a revolutionary 360 design that eliminates stress points prone to wear and tear.
